SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT

  1. About the meeting
    This workshop is the tenth edition of a series of meetings which started in Brazil in 1996, originated mostly from the scientific collaboration between Italy and Brazil. Since then, the meeting has been held almost every two years: the most recent workshops took place in Rio-Brazil (2008), Verbania-Italy (2010), João Pessoa-Brazil (2012) and Varese-Italy (2015). In all of them, we had the participation of mathematicians not only from Italian and Brazilian institutions, but also from many other countries in Europe, U.S.A. and Latin America.

    The Scientific Committee is sending grant applications to all Brazilian scientific agencies for funding the local expenses of participants/speakers.

  2. Deadlines
    Registration of non-speaker participants: July 31th, 2017.

    To submit an abstract (poster): August 8th, 2017.

    We encourage the members of the scientific community to present posters during our meeting. To submit the abstract of the poster, please use this template . The source code in Latex format must be sent to wpde2017@mat.unb.br, with title of the message being "Poster - [your name]".

  3. How to register
    The subscription must be done by filling this form, whereas the subscription fee must be payed at the registration during the event. The rates, in local currency, are the following

    • Students: R$ 100,00

    • Other participants: R$ 350,00

  4. Hotel Information

    How to arrive in Brasília from other Brazilian cities

    Brasília is located at the heart of Brazil with the biggest national flight connections. From any city of Brazil it is possible to arrive in Brasília, choosing a convenient and comfortable flight according to your preference. For it, you can look for your flight at the following companies which operates in Brazil: Azul (http://www.voeazul.com.br/), Gol (http://www.voegol.com.br/), Latam (http://www.latam.com/), Avianca (http://www.avianca.com.br/) and Passaredo (http://www.voepassaredo.com.br/) .

    How to arrive in Brasília from other countries

    It is also very easy to arrive to Brasília from other countries. There are direct flights from Lisbon to Brasília operated by TAP (http://flytap.pt/) and also, from Miami to Brasília operated by Latam (http://www.latam.com/). Moreover, we have several options of flights with small connections from any countries in the world to Brasília, Brazil. You can consult the companies of your preference for the details.

    How to arrive at the hotel from the airport

    Below, we list some shuttle options to go from the airport to the hotel.

    1. By Executive Bus: if you booked a hotel localized at Setor Hoteleiro Norte or Setor Hoteleiro Sul, you can take the executive bus at the airport, which costs R$ 10,00 (approximately U$ 3,00) and goes directly to these both sectors and other places in the city.     2. By taxi: it is also possible to go to anywhere in Brasília by taxi. There are several taxis at the airport and they are localized in the arrival platform of the airport.
