The workshop in Algebra this year will occur in March, from 15 to 17, and it is in honour of Pavel Zalesskii 60th birthday. It is mainly devoted to group theory, with particular emphasis on profinite groups. The invited speakers will cover a broad range of Pavel Zalesskii's co-authors, collaborators, former students and experts in the field.

The event will take place at Mathematics Department at Universidade de Brasília (Brasília, Brazil) during the activities of the XV Summer Workshop in Mathematics of the Summer School of UnB.
