Título:  Long-Time Dynamics and Singular Limit of a Shear Beam Model

Abstract.: We study the dynamical system generated by the Timoshenko beam model without rotary inertia, known as the Shear beam model. We show that the Euler-Bernoulli
beam equation arises as a singular limit as the shear modulus κ → ∞. By introducing a suitable dissipative mechanism, we prove the existence of a smooth global attractor with
finite fractal dimension. Moreover, we establish the upper semicontinuity of the attractor with respect to the singular perturbation.
